Everyone's favorite caramel apples rolled in Cheerios® cereal.

Ingredients
  • cups Cheerios® cereal
  • small eating apples
  • flat wooden sticks with round ends
  • bag (14 oz) caramels
  • tablespoons water
Directions
  1. Into medium bowl, measure cereal. Wash and dry apples; remove stem and blossom ends. Insert wooden stick into stem end of each.
  2. In 4-cup glass measuring cup, microwave caramels and water uncovered on High 3 to 4 minutes, stirring every 45 seconds, until melted and smooth.
  3. Dip each apple into caramel, turning and spreading. Dip into cereal, pressing cereal over top and side. Cool on waxed paper. If desired, wrap each in waxed paper.
